Back Lane Gardens: Tour Our Garden

Linda, the owner of Back Lane Gardens, is a WSU certified master gardener.

Her home garden behind the Back Lane Gardens greenhouse is a certified bird sanctuary.
She is happy to offer you a peek of how her garden grows...

Linda's private garden is open for tours Thursday-Saturday, by appointment.

Above left: A small footbridge over slow-moving bird bath waters. There are a variety of bathing options for the wide variety of birds visiting the garden.
Above right: the fish pond. Water is re circulated through an automatic  pump hidden within the base of the hand pump.

The garden swing is a popular location for special photos in our family. It was built within an older arbor so that the addition of the swing would not disturb the vines covering the arbor. The swing's frame adds additional support to the older wood.

 

 

 

 

 

This arbor gate, leading to the gardens, is an example of some of those built and sold at the Back Lane Gardens greenhouse. It has weathered nicely and is a great joy to walk through, especially when the antique roses are in bloom!
